New story begins
In 1975, our company started as audio manufactuere in Nagoya, Japan. In response to market changes, we shifted to the manufacturing and sales of IT equipment, growing as Buffalo. Approximately 40 years later, leveraging the IT technology we had developed, we returned to our audio roots with the new MELCO. Supported by audio enthusiasts, we celebrated our 50th anniversary in 2025.
In this milestone year, we are taking a new step forward with our new brand name.
DELA – In French, it means ‘Beyond,’ and in the dialect of our company’s birthplace, Nagoya, it means ‘Extremely. ‘ To go beyond, with extremely high quality and performance products.’ DELA embodies this vision.
