De plateaus

PlenQ gebruikt uitsluitend 25 mm hoog, massief bamboe multiplex. Strookjes bamboe worden gekookt waardoor de naturelkleur wordt gestabiliseerd. Onder hoge druk wordt van de strookjes plaatmateriaal vervaardigd. Dit wordt als eerst maatvast gesneden op een CNC machine. Vervolgens wordt het plateau voorzien van een krasvaste polyurethaan laklaag. De laklaag maakt het plateau vloeistofdicht, naadloos, slijtvast en vuilafstotend. De plateaus meten 600 x 400 x 25 mm.

De kolommen

PlenQ gebruikt uitsluitend met echt koolstof (3K doek) versterkte glasfiber kolommen. De kolommen worden onderling verbonden met een draadeind in een op maat gemaakt, verankerd aluminium onderdeel in de kolom. Bij PlenQ geen zichtbare schroeven, boutjes, veertjes, ringetjes of moertjes. En... alles past perfect. De kolommen hebben een diameter van 25 mm en zijn er in 4 hoogtes, te weten 60, 130, 190 en 240 mm. De 60mm hoge kolom wordt onder het onderste plateau geplaatst en voorzien van de spike en borgmoer.

De montage

PlenQ gebruikt uitsluitend zwart geanodiseerd aluminium (6061) voor alle zichtbare metalen onderdelen. Op maat gemaakte en in het bovenste plateau verzonken eindkappen. Op maat gemaakte 25 mm spikes die perfect aansluiten op de meegeleverde 25 mm onderlegschijven. Op maat gemaakte 25 mm borgmoeren die zorgen voor een stabiele plaatsing. En... alles past perfect.

Het kabelmanagement

Alle plateaus zijn voorzien van twee unieke sparingen. Hierdoor kunnen de kabels netjes worden weggewerkt. Spanning/stroom en signaal kunnen worden gescheiden. De sparingen zijn doordacht en maken doorvoer van de meest grote connectoren en dikke kabels mogelijk. Unieke combinatie PlenQ is groen. In dit geval houdt dat in dat er uitsluitend gebruik gemaakt is van duurzame materialen met een zo laag mogelijke CO2 voetafdruk. Zelfs bij de productie van de koolstof buizen is getracht hier zoveel mogelijk rekening mee te houden. Het unieke van PlenQ is dat in de zoektocht een zo groen mogelijk hifi-meubel te produceren, er tevens een oplossing is gevonden voor de akoestische voetafdruk van het rack. Door de uitgelezen vorm van de plateaus en de kolommen heeft een PlenQ hifi-rack bijna geen invloed het geluid dat de luidsprekers de kamer in laten vloeien.

PlenQ ontkoppelt

Behalve de duurzaamheid van de onderdelen, heeft de toepassing van sandwich-constructie van de plateaus die vervolgens onderling onder spanning worden gezet een unieke eigenschap op de mate van afvoer van resonanties. Voorts vormt de combinatie van bamboe, koolstof met glasfiber kern, aluminium en polyurethaanlak de perfecte basis voor allerhande hifi-apparatuur. Ieder component zal op een PlenQ optimaal zijn werk kunnen doen.

The plateaus

PlenQ only uses 25 mm high, solid bamboo plywood. Strips of bamboo are boiled to stabilize the natural color. Plate material is manufactured from the strips under high pressure. This is first cut to size on a CNC machine. The platform is then provided with a scratch-resistant polyurethane coating. The lacquer layer makes the platform liquid-tight, seamless, wear-resistant and dirt-repellent. The plateaus measure 600 x 400 x 25 mm.

The columns

PlenQ only uses real carbon (3K cloth) reinforced glass fiber columns. The columns are interconnected with a threaded rod in a custom-made, anchored aluminum part in the column. With PlenQ no visible screws, bolts, springs, washers or nuts. And... everything fits perfectly. The columns have a diameter of 25 mm and are available in 4 heights, namely 60, 130, 190 and 240 mm. The 60mm high column is placed under the bottom platform and fitted with the spike and lock nut.

The assembly

PlenQ uses only black anodized aluminum (6061) for all visible metal parts. Tailor-made end caps recessed into the top shelf. Custom 25mm spikes that fit perfectly with the included 25mm washers. Custom 25mm locknuts ensuring stable positioning. And... everything fits perfectly.

The cable management

All platforms are provided with two unique recesses. This allows the cables to be neatly concealed. Voltage/current and signal can be separated. The recesses are well thought-out and allow the passage of the largest connectors and thick cables. Unique combination PlenQ is green. In this case, this means that only sustainable materials with the lowest possible CO2 footprint have been used. Even in the production of the carbon tubes, an effort has been made to take this into account as much as possible. The unique thing about PlenQ is that in the quest to produce hi-fi furniture that is as green as possible, a solution has also been found for the acoustic footprint of the rack. Due to the exquisite shape of the shelves and columns, a PlenQ hi-fi rack has almost no influence on the sound that the loudspeakers let flow into the room.

PlenQ disconnects

In addition to the durability of the components, the use of a sandwich construction of the platforms, which are then put under mutual tension, has a unique property in terms of the degree of dissipation of resonances. Furthermore, the combination of bamboo, carbon with fiberglass core, aluminum and polyurethane lacquer forms the perfect basis for all kinds of hi-fi equipment. Each component will be able to do its job optimally on a PlenQ.
