ZAX design project define a new era of amplifiers, new concepts intended to create an amplifier capable to drive any charge with any condition of input signal! ZAX design project is based on hi-voltage (120Volt DC) and Hi-current circuit (+/-20A). To reach this ambitious design our engineers reqiured custom made components: • Special transistors with hi-current and hi voltage that could be handle little signals. • Special output device transistors handling hi-current with special buil-in compensation in temperature. • Special power ac main transformer with hi-energy and low flux leackage. The results is the ZAX design project! The ZAX produce outstanding sound quality: the FET stage give a sweet and smooth soundstage and otherwise the hi-energy power output transistors produce right performance for detailed high frequencies and beatifull and authoritative bass response. The electronic circuit is based only on discrete components, transistor and fet (input device), no Integrated Circuits on the signal path! (The IC cannot delivery hi current!) The amplifier has 5 five hi-level line inputs and a pair of speakers system output and a tape record output.
