Complex, profound, elegant
Valeirano displays surprising minerality, supported with phenomenal structure. Hints of tea leaf and balsamic notes on the nose and palate recur. The finish is intense, while tannins are noble.

Maceration and alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled vats for an average period of 14-15 days. Malolactic fermentation done in French oak barrels, of which 20% are new and the balance is aged in used (2nd passage) barrels, followed by 20-22 months of aging. Finally, bottle-aged for about 6 months.

A Riserva Barbaresco Valeirano is made from a selection of the best grapes and is aged at least 10 years. About 300 magnums of Barbaresco Riserva Valeirano are produced every year.
