With a 6” mid-woofer designed by Gold Note and made by SEAS using a special hardened woven polypropylene, A3-XL can deliver exceptionally low and powerful frequency responses and achieve the most natural reproduction possible. The recessed driver has a horn loading to help bass extension and power and to reproduce every single detail. The custom 1” dome tweeter in silk is specifically tuned to match the speaker shape and features an aluminium extra rigid flange to keep the high frequencies always ultra clean even when you want to enjoy high volume levels. A3-XL will fit on any shelf and there is no arm in placing our speakers close to walls: its surprising voice will not be lost thanks to the front double bass reflex. The custom aluminium reflex pipes are designed to minimize turbulence and unwanted sound interactions and to achieve very powerful, detailed and natural music in any condition. The speaker cabinet is tuned through two large aluminum recessed vibrating panels on each side to guarantee incredible bass extension, far beyond what the size of this speaker would allow: the panels are blocked on the cabinet with threaded steel bars properly tuned to let them work as “Virtual Passive Drivers” to get the bass extension. Side panels are available in brushed black, silver aluminum finish or covered in real Italian leather while the main structure is lacquered in black matt or grand piano glossy to match with a modern and stylish living room.
