Crystal Cables don’t look like other cables, which is why they work better than other cables. You’ve heard the old saying, “Less is more”? Well, the Diamond Series is the ultimate audio expression of that philosophy. By using unique, high-tech materials in radically different combinations we can eliminate unnecessary elements and the undesirable side effects they introduce. At the heart of the Diamond Series lies a solid core conductor, drawn from our superb, proprietary silver-gold alloy. This advanced metallurgy, developed by and exclusive to Crystal Cables and Siltech, massively reduces the micro-distortions introduced into conventional conductor materials by crystal boundaries and oxidization. It is a superior material to all alternatives, short of the unique monocrystal silver used in our flagship lines. The silver-gold central core is helically wound with two, thin layers of low-loss, ultra rigid Kapton insulation, reducing dielectric loss and mechanical intermodulation. A silver screen is covered in a minimalist Teflon jacket to create the simplest and most theoretically perfect construction possible. The result is almost impossibly thin and flexible cables that are virtually all conductor, with the least possible insulation and lowest possible sonic fingerprint. They offer class leading RFI and EMI rejection, complete performance consistency and excellent longevity, easily surpassing the competition in these important areas, performance attributes that ensure that your cables don’t just sound great, they go on sounding great. But the Diamond Series cables take consistency to a whole new level, employing identical conductors across each family, improving rhythmic flow and phase coherence, finally allowing your system to show its full potential.

Reference Diamond Series

Our heaviest gauge single core cable, the Reference Diamond is based on a solid, silver-gold conductor, wrapped in the same Kapton insulation, shielding and Teflon outer as the other Diamond Series cables. The result is extremely low levels of micro-distortion, resistance and mechanical energy loss, producing superior presentation of time and phase information, spatial resolution and musical detail – yet all from a cable that is incredibly flexible, easy to handle and consistent in performance, with none of the rounded, softened, exaggerated or slurred sound that is typical from bigger, bulkier cables with their stranded conductors, extra fillers and insulation. That and serial number production ensures that your system always sounds its best.
